After 3 days of travelling, we decided to spend a lazy day at Mall road. We asked our hotel staff about way to The Mall. After a short steep walk (Most walks in Shimla are steep 😃), we reached Mall road. Shimla is capital of Himachal Pradesh, so Mall road and Ridge are most happening places in Shimla. As vehicles are not allowed on these places, it make them quiet and enjoyable. You can ride on a pony, eat in couple of joints, shop in lakkar bazar, click pics in traditional dress, enjoy heritage buildings or just relaxxxx in the sun. We did all of it except riding on a pony.
We also explored entire of Mall road, middle bazaar and lower bazaar. The mall road is full of branded show room whereas lower bazaar is more of small shops and road side shopping. We spent most part of the evening shopping in middle and lower bazaars.
As sun moved below the horizon, we felt the cold so we had our dinner very early at 7.00 pm and got back to our room.
